A SHORT HISTORY
Nepal Buddhist Council is a non profit and non government Buddhist organisation established in 1997 A.D.(2054 B.S.) in National level. It is recognised by Nepal Government under the Organisation Act 2034 B.S. It is specially dedicated to preserve and promote the Buddhism and its philosophy in true sense without discrimination of caste and creed.

Up till now it has two branch offices out side the Capital Kathmandu. One is at Makawanpur district and the other is at Sindupalchowk district. Its central office is at Lalitpur, the second city of Nepal.
